Co-Effort to Better Program for Angolan Students Sponsored by ACEG

On the afternoon of April 10th, Ms. Xing Yingmei and Mr. Guo Mingzhi, leaders of ACEG Overseas Company, visited Hefei University of Technology (HFUT) – where 33 Angolan students consigned by ACEG are studying and a communication meeting was held, the meeting, attended also by leaders from HFUT side and 9 representatives of the 33 Angolan students. The topics were how to lay joint efforts of all parties concerned for better education and career of the students and a consensus was reached on the students'' project internships, corporate exchanges and employment orientation.
 
In the meeting, the 9 representatives introduced their study and living conditions in fluent Mandarin Chinese and expressed their gratitude for ACEG and HFUT. Mr. Tan, Dean of HFUT International Education College, gave a detailed introduction of the study and living arrangements, education and training modes and academic level feedback of these 33 Angolan students over the past four years. Mr. Guo Mingzhi provided constructive suggestions on guiding these students’ project internships and strengthening corporate exchanges. Ms. Xing Yingmei, on behalf of ACEG Overseas Company, expressed her gratitude and sincere thanks to HFUT for giving these 33 Angolan students cares for their study and life. She said that the Consigned International Student Program is a positive response to and concrete practice of President Xi Jinping’s Great Power Diplomacy. At present, these students have academically progressed and adapted to their lives in China, both ACEG Overseas Company and HFUT have paid painstaking efforts. The following steps for both sides are to further enhance exchanges and strengthen interaction and propaganda effect with an aim to achieve a good vision for these students of their success in study, fine contributions to the friendship of the two countries and win-win cooperation.

After the meeting, the two sides held an on-site exchange and posed for a commemorative photo with the 9 Angolan student representatives.
