June marks the Work Safety Month for ACEG Pakistani Branch and a work safety inspection activity and field exercises have been carried out from June 12 up to 18.

The inspection team of the Branch has carried out safety and sanitation inspections at places like the warehouses, the canteen, the staff dormitories, the security rooms as well as the water and electricity and gas supply systems. In view of the problems found in the inspection process, the responsibilities were assigned to the particular staff and a series of drills such as the fire control were carried out at the same time.

More than 100 staff participated in the fire drill, first aid drill for heat stroke and emergency drill for mechanical injuries at the project sites of the Afghan Embassy in Pakistan.

The drill simulated "actual combat" to educate the employees on safety emergency knowledge and improve their emergency handling skills, most of the employees participated were local Pakistani employees, the atmosphere there was warm and the staff got themselves actively involved in the activities, which were also new attempts of the Branch to actively explore the "localization" of work safety culture.
